Easter week 1

Skate Park

Well we've completed week 1 of the easter holidays and its been a week of highs and lows. Monday saw a group of parents out on an activity before the lions and butterflies sports session on the evening.

tuesday was a day of sporty activities with the morning spent kayaking with a group to prepare them for a kayak  trip. the afternoon saw us rock climbing with a group of young men.

wednesday saw a trip to a trampoline park with another group of young people which highlighted some of the skills the lads had, pulling back flips and other crazy stunts.

Thursday started with a group from helping hands visit a cat cafe where they enjoyed cuppas and food, while getting to play with the cats. the afternoon saw a livlely game of quaser with another group of helping hands.

Friday saw the the biggest high of the week as also the biggest low.

the biggest High was the first of many Phoenix Bowl Family funday in partnership with Active north tyneside. This event saw over 100 attendees enjoy a live DJ, various sporting activities and also spot prize give aways.

After this however was the biggest low of the week. it is always tragic having to attend a young persons funeral, especially one who did alot with us in his younger days. but He got a good send off with a large number of people coming to pay their respects.
