Phew, week 3 was a hectic one. It was a nonstop adventure involving the perfect trio of sun, sea and surf.
Well the summer is flying by and unsurprisingly we have been that busy with group work we are falling behind on our blogs. But im playing catch up now haha.
Well its started again, the 6 weeks holidays, instead of updating with different activities, we are aiming to give you a weekly update with all the exciting things we have done.
One of the Helping Hands groups was keen to do a creative arts project and we were fortunate enough to work with Gail from Happy Planet Creative Arts CIC, Whitley Bay.
Well it's the end of January and we have already had our first residential of 2017, meaning we are better at organising residentials than we are blogs.
We had our annual parents and kids Xmas party on Monday at st Johns church Percy Main.
Sunday saw Mike take some of our young Mams, Dads and their kids to beamish for a pre-Xmas treat. While there they got to visit the farm and hang out with the animals (mikes favourite is the pig).
Two of the Helping Hands groups chose creative activities for their Christmas session. Both groups used local businesses for these sessions.
