Last week we had our Open day and due to capacity in previous years this year it was held at Chirton Lodge, Anchor Trust and our thanks go to Natalie for allowing us to use the lounge. This venue proved much more suitable and meant several of the residents were able to join us.
Well, week 5 is now in the bag and its safe to say it was another epic one.
Well as we head into week 5 i cant help but look at week 4 and think "how did we cram all that in"
Phew, week 3 was a hectic one. It was a nonstop adventure involving the perfect trio of sun, sea and surf.
Well the summer is flying by and unsurprisingly we have been that busy with group work we are falling behind on our blogs. But im playing catch up now haha.
Well its started again, the 6 weeks holidays, instead of updating with different activities, we are aiming to give you a weekly update with all the exciting things we have done.
One of the Helping Hands groups was keen to do a creative arts project and we were fortunate enough to work with Gail from Happy Planet Creative Arts CIC, Whitley Bay.
The PDYP had a successful night at the NEYouth Projects with pride awards. We came away with two awards for the two entries we made. It saw luke win the youth worker of the year award.
