Investors in children visit the project

On 25th of May, around fifteen young people played host to Robert from ‘Investing in Children’ at Phoenix DYP, so that he could speak to them about the work that the project has done with them. By all accounts our visitor left with the impression that the Phoenix continues to provide a unique and valuable service to young people from this area of North Tyneside. Later that evening, representatives of the Website Crew and the Youth Forum met with the volunteer students from Northumbria University who are to become our new Press and Publicity Officers, to plan how the three groups would work together to co-ordinate the blog with other media, and how positive images and stories of young people will be promoted in the local press and beyond.
