Speak out about Mental Health

Speak out about Mental Health

One of the aims of Helping Hands is to improve young peoples confidence. We are delighted that one of the group members wanted to raise awareness of young people and mental health and as a result wrote and made a film with Fixers. This is a fantastic example of a young persons creativity and producing a resource to address an issue.

"I wanted to do something to make people aware that mental health is an issue and that just because it is an invisible illness, it doesn't mean it's not there. A lot of people get bullied because of it. I want this film to raise peoples awareness of mental health"
Rachel, 16yrs
