Summer time

Summer time

Well, its here again, that time of year when we turn things up to 11 at the PDYP. Thats right the 6 weeks holidays. By far the busiest time of the year for us but also probably the most fun as well. And this summer looks like it could be our busiest yet.

Along side our usual range of activities we will be taking 6 different groups on residential's including 2 of our Helping Hands groups. We have the Canny Dads going to Beamish. We have the Mam's group going to Flamingo land after successfully raising the money. we have 2 of our younger groups visiting Light Water Valley after successfully raising the money through the Keyfund project. We have our 5th annual Phoenix Jam on August 5th (something not to be missed), we will be linking in with NTC Sports Development team and also running the next stage of our Construction Scheme. All while keeping up with our usual one to one work, crisis support and anything else that comes through the door.

We kicked things off with a bang last week and it wasnt even the first official week. Last Thursday saw helping hands visit the Great North Museum, The Banta Squad go Go Karting and to Taybarns with money they raised and a music session at Note studios.

Il do my best to keep these blogs up to date with all the fun stuff we are doing and heres to the next 6 weeks off craziness.
