Week 2

The Ambassadors

Well the summer is flying by and unsurprisingly we have been that busy with group work we are falling behind on our blogs. But im playing catch up now haha.

Monday saw us taking a new group out to quaser which they really enjoyed. The evening saw the Phoenix Ambassadors go out for their first official meeting to discuss how they see the PDYP.

Tuesday saw us take a Helping Hands group to Light Water Valley which saw a full range of weather from Hot sun to torrential rain. Everyone had an amazing time and a highlight for alot was the Carousel.

Wednesday saw another Helping hands group going to the Ice Rink for a fun time while we also got some detached work done.

Thursday was a busy day as we had the parents group visit the sealife centre, the kids loved seeing all the different fish and the otters and seals were a big hit. while we also supported a local NCS group in fixing up a board at our graffiti space for their social action project.

Friday we had the Banta Squad out for a spot of laser quaser. An activity that i think the staff get more into than the young people.

All this is on top of our usual meetings and support work that we do.
