Week 5: the end is near

Well here we are the end of week 5 and me fully caught up on blogs woohoo.
Week 5 has been another fun one with as much variation as the weather.
Monday saw another helping hands session and some office work (sadly i cant spend all my time out and about in the sun).
Tuesday saw us at the soccerdome, laser quaser (an activity the staff take more seriously than the kids haha) and another (but not the last) trip to gravity force. somewhere ive been that often the staff know my face and name. Wednesday was amazing as we had two groups at Light Water Valley and thankfully the weather couldnt have been better. Both groups had successfully raised the money to go through the Keyfund scheme and we couldnt have picked a better day. The highlights for the kids were going on the different rides and hanging out with their friends in the sunshine. The highlight for me was watching my co worker Becca scream in terror on a ride called the Eagles Claw. The day was a huge success and we knew this as half the young people fell asleep on the bus journey home.
Thursday saw another helping hands session and also some one to one and crisis work.
Todays agenda is catching up with a few groups and putting the last few things in order in preparation for week 6.
I cant believe the summer is almost over and its looking like it has been out busiest yet
