Before you get into the blog I will apologise for the rubbish attempt at rhyming in the title, that is my fault, not the young peoples.
Saturday saw the Banta Squad take a trip up to the Quad father for a session of off road fun.
The group had successfully raised the money for this and another activity through the keyfund.
When we got there the group were met with rain and mud... A lot of mud. But undeterred the group kitted themselves up and prepared for a session of off roading. the group got to test their 4 wheel skills going up and down banks, over obstacles and trying not to go over the handle bars all while under the safe instruction of the Quadfather staff (this allowed myself and Lizzie to hide in the cabin and stay warm and dry. The group had and amazing time and as you can see from the photo, managed to stay nice and clean...NOT!!!.
Anyway after a quick blast from the hose and a change of clothes, the group were all clean and ready for a Maccy D's lunch.
The group group really enjoyed themselves and when asked, they said the fact they helped raise the money gave them a bigger sense of achievement as they now know how much effort goes in to raising money fo activities
