The PDYP has gained some green fingered young men to take on our allotment after it has stood vacant for several months. Lewis and David decided to take on the allotment after struggling to find things to do on an evening. The lads use it to keep busy as well as grow a range of delicious veg. After a battle with the weeds, the lads are now succesfully growing potatoes, spring onions, tomatoes and cabbages. They have full acces to a poly tunnel for winter growing and cant wait for the spring where they can really get their crops going.
