Helping Hands gets creative

The 'Monday' Helping Hands groups have been planning an art piece about what is positive about being young. Having decided on the words they wanted to use during previous sessions today they painted them on to the tiles. The group can't wait to see what they will look like once they have been fired in the kiln. When the tiles are finished they are going to be displayed at Phoenix detached youth project and will be ready for our Helping Hands celebration event in June.

Charlie, Jess, Matthew, Sophie, Ruby and Jess have done a fantastic job and will write a blog with a photo of the finished piece when it is completed.

We would like to thank Shirley from Pots and Pancakes in North Shields for her help with this art project.
