The Intergen panto trip with young people from Phoenix detached youth project and residents from Chirton Lodge was a fantastic way to end a week full of Christmas based activities with a wide range of groups.
Peter Pan at Whitley Bay Playhouse was a fantastic production especially with real flying! Some of the residents said it had cheered them up and highlights the fact that for many Christmas isn't always a time of happiness.
This has also been highlighted by some young people also getting benefits sanctioned for a significant length of time just before Christmas. We have had a bit of Christmas magic out of the blue by some very kind people who have enabled us to help some people in crisis over Christmas.
