Last night saw the PDYP take a trip to what seems to be our second home, yep thats right. Trampoline Parks. Since infinite air first opened last year we have seen a huge demand from young people for wanting to visit these.
The different parks are a great way for young people to try new and exciting things as well as getting a good exercise session in (if anyones seen how sweaty they look when they get back on the bus you'll understand what i mean). We have taken over 60 different individual young people to the parks over the year, some multiple times as they enjoy it so much.
It has also been a great way for us to engage with young people and start new projects such as the respect your estate group who formed after wanting to move away from the trouble making some of their peers were into, they raised £250 to visit trampoline parks and while doing so, we were able to work on other issues with them. It has also allowed us to work with other existing groups as well as newly formed ones as visiting these parks is a luxury some of our young people cant afford.
Well so that i dont start rambling, its been great seeing young people something new and progress so far with it and i cant help but wonder what the next craze will be in 2017.
