As a result of our partnership with Sport North Tyneside we were fortunate to be offered some places on a Women's team building day at High Borans in the Lake District as part of their 'Us Girls North Tyneside' project.
We all had a fantastic day meeting new people, trying new things and enjoyed a day away which gave us the opportunity to talk about other things we'd like to do with our lives and has resulted us in deciding to set up a PDYP Us girls project which will give young women the chance to take part in different sports and activities.
"The things I liked about the day was canoeing and the walk in the morning. I also liked that everyone was so welcoming to us as we didn't know them and they all seemed to know each other" Molly

Thank you to everyone who made the day possible but special thanks to Mandy and Rachael. It was definitely worth the very early start and the Goody bags were an added bonus. You have definitely inspired us to start a new group at Phoenix DYP.
