Residential to the Lake district

Residential to the Lake district

From 23rd-25th of August we went on a residential to Great Towers Scout Camp in the Lake District. We did the voyager canoe which was wicked and a good laugh, and rowed to Bowness in record time. We also did archery and the Outlaws hammered (according to them) the barabarians (which included two members of staff). On the next day we climbed Jacobs ladder, which one young man described as "canny dodgy". We found it a real challenge.

We had a great laugh doing the night line. We never thought you could get views like the one's we had in this country. The stars in the night sky were amazing - we don't get views like that because of the light pollution. It was the experience of a lifetime.
