Sunday saw Mike take some of our young Mams, Dads and their kids to beamish for a pre-Xmas treat. While there they got to visit the farm and hang out with the animals (mikes favourite is the pig). They got to visit the sweet shop and travel on the old fashioned transport (and I don't just mean the PDYP Minibus). Both the parents and the kids had a great day exploring the shops, school and other attractions from the 19th and early 20th century (or as mike calls it, his childhood!!!).
This is what the parents had to say about it: "Everyone loved the train ride and tram rides. The fake snow made it feel like Christmas, there was fun for everyone".
