We had a successful residential in partnership between the Phoenix DYP and North Tyneside Council's Sports Development Team last weekend (12-14 of september).
The residential involved Mike Burgess (PDYP), Mandy Bennett (Sports Developmet Team) and Helen Wilson (Masters Student at Durham Uni) taking young volunteers from the Sports Development team up to Wittaugh Park on the borders of Scotland.
The Residential was a chance to start doing some issue based work around being a teenager while incorporating team building and outdoor activities to keep it fun and dynamic. This is the start of a year long project between us.

Cankles were the best team, and the crate stacking was fab :))) got to meet some amazing new people
