We are a group of students from Norham High School. Over the last 5 weeks we have been doing a project with Phoenix Detached Youth Project. We have done a range of different things-
"My favourite thing was the balloon session and making stress balls, it was fun and I have been using the stress ball instead of punching people or a wall."
"I liked the bottle activity where we shook bottles of lemonade to show how different people deal with anger and came up with our own top 5 ways to positively deal with anger"
"I liked the umbrella activity as we wrote down things that make you angry and because it was on an umbrella it was a way of protecting myself from getting angry."
Some of the other points we learnt were;
-Be careful what you say/do
-Remember that actions have consequences
-Don't take your anger out on anyone, find a way to calm down.
-Don't be stupid
