Bumpy bus ride
We created a word wall based on actions and consequences, thinking about everyday issues.
Then we started with individual words that leaded to rhymes to create sayings and paragraph's to help produce our lyrics.
Sounds down the Mine
We created sounds down in the mine to use for producing the music. We recorded beatbox noises, individual words from our lyrics and different sounds, creating different effects by using rocks and water down the mine.
To do this we splashed water and threw rocks onto the ground to create the sounds and effects.
Producing the Music
We did this at the music education centre at sage Gateshead. We worked as a group to help produce music using the sounds we recorded down the mine. We then worked together to add musical parts such as piano melody and bass line.
Recording the Vocals
We did this by using a laptop, headphones and a recording microphone. By doing this we used team work to record the vocals through the microphone onto laptop then added the vocals to the music and created a disk.
