The Kielder residential was based around designing a website. The website is to publicise the good work which the phoenix detached youth project gets up to. Also to let groups know about updates and news within PDYP.
We (Phoenix Crew, Sid, Adam, Mike, Peter) went to the residential on the 21st-22nd, for the weekend, staying in hawkhurst camp. We designed a website based on what we liked about websites. While there we took part in team-building exercises like raft-building, which we split into two teams and one teams raft sunk in the middle of the reservoir, team archery, team assault course and a nightline, in which we went as one team and ended up walking through a river, the team-building helped as we are working as a team to build the website. There we finished designing base layer of the website, and found exactly what we want and dont want on it. One of the best ideas was having logins for groups so they could see more information about the phoenix than the public, this also gives access to group photos, videos and upcoming events.
