Coasteering

Coasteering

A group of young people from the urban art and the dance group went on a day out up south shields to do some coasteering. on our way their we did not know what to expect of the heights off the cliffs when we arrived we got greeted by the instructors who where taking us out on the day and before we set off we went through some health and safety rules. As we got to the destination we where at we started off crawling through caves and narrow tunnels and pathways as well as crawling on our fronts in the shallow water pulling our self along the rocks as we go. We started off on a very small cliff drop close to the waters surface then built our way up to a higher cliff until we reached the highest cliff witch not many of us decided to jump off. It was an exciting but adrenaline pumped day and everyone who came took part in what they could and still enjoyed the day out and are wanting to do more of the water activity.
We want to say a huge thanks to Fergus and his team at Adventure Sunderland for an amazing day.
