Young people from our Helping Hands group have been invited to attend the North Tyneside World Mental Health Day event on Friday. As part of this they have been asked to give a 20 minute presentation on the idea of 'Take Notice'. They have made a powerpoint presentation around the idea of the unusual and unexpected and linked this into Mental Health. One of the young people has also written a poem especially for the event.
It is great that the work of Helping Hands is recognised as providing an important service for young people and that group members have the opportunity to show what Helping Hands is about.
Helping Hands is a partnership beween Phoenix detached youth project and North Tyneside Connexions.
