Local Firms Helping Build young peoples futures

members of the Phoenix Construction Scheme completing there PASMA training

As a charity we are  committed to inspiring marginalized  young people, into work allowing them to contribute to society, as we believe getting young people into work is the most effective way of helping them change their lives. With out the support from Terry and his team at access training none of the young people would have gained thier PASMA qualification and without partnerships like the one with North East Access Training and funding in kind to help in moving young people on, it would be more challenging. We would also like to thank Angela Carney from Carney Consultancy for linking us up with Terry and his team.

The grant of £500 will be used as a development fund to pump prime and  in helping young people towards passing driving or bike tests to help them get to work. I would also like to say a special thanks the trainer  for giving up a days pay to deliver the course you are a star. All 5 young people passed and they were all buzzing on way home thanks for helping a local charity make a difference.  Mike Burgess Project Manager Phoenix Detached Youth Project on behalf of Phoenix Construction scheme and Partners.
