Luke Johnston

(Right Handside) CEO/ Youth Worker.  Luke started working for the PDYP in 2012 after spending several years training and working for a detached project in Seaham. Through distance learning, Luke gained his BAHons in youth work in 2018. His main areas of interest are working with young men and youth works role within education, using the skills of youth work to deliver sessions in the local high schools. Other than youth work, Luke is  passionate about nature. He spends as much of his free time as possible exploring new places with his wife and dog.

Becky Rowe

(second from the right) Senior Detached Youth Worker.  Becky has been a qualified worker since 1998 and since then been involved with several detached youth projects and has worked at PDYP since 2008.  Her specific interests are young people’s sexual and mental health, working with young parents and young women. Outside of work Becky loves wild swimming in the lakes around the region. Her other passion is being outside; walking, camping, wild swimming and exploring with her family.

Becca O'keefe

(Second from the left) Youth Worker. Becca joined the team in 2023 as a permanent member of staff after years of supporting us as a sessional worker. Becca like all the team is a full time JNC Qualified youth worker and brings a wealth of experience from her years managing projects in the social care sector. Becca is passionate about her community and outside of the PDYP, if shes not out walking her dog, or spending time with her family, you can see her in her duties as a local councillor

 

Abby Webster

(Left) Abby has joined the team as a level 3 youth support worker. Abby has a background working with young carers, supporting the development of projects as well as one to one support across projects in Tyneside. Abby brings a wealth of skills working with young people as well as a fresh perspective to our team.
